Week Two- Project 365

I will be the first to tell you that I slacked this week on my Project 365. I was just so tired, and though I had plenty of opportunities for snapshots, I would forget to be more intentional about my pictures. And, I can promise you there will be many more weeks like this.

The results are pictures that are blown out, grainy, and/or too dark. But I'm alright with that, because I at least am able to recognize what IS wrong, even if I don't quite know how to make it right.

For example, this picture, of my husband has good shadows, but I just didn't like the lighting situation and it is a little too grainy. Plus, I'm not really sure where the focus is... his nostril? Moving on.
I took this on Tuesday, at Panera's, after a delicious lunch with my friend Courtney. It's alright. I like how busy it is.

I really like this one. I loved how this man {stranger} was using his ipod to take pictures at the Magic game. And picture wise, I liked how his hand/ipod is in focus and the rest of the background is {mostly} blurrier.

Ugggg, it was so late on Thursday. I had had a looooong day of shopping with Mrs. Angela only to come home to some not so great family stuff. But my MIL had gotten this new lamp for our room, and I had bought that votive candle holder and just loved how the lamp light looked in the room.

Again with the late nights. It was about 11:55 and I hadn't taken a picture. SO I took a picture of my new planner.

I heart Franklin Covey planners. You can get them at Target now! I've used them for 6 years and they are just the best!

I had some more actiony shots from Zach's basketball game, but this little cheerleader was just so darn cute. Nothing technical about this shot other than the fact that I didn't use a flash.

hahahaha. Don't you just love restaurants where you can draw on the table? My besties birthday was today and we ate out at the Macaroni Grill, where her friend Phil drew this awesome Broccoli man...who I mistaked as a muffin man. My bad.

Happy Birthday Jessica!

Five days until our first paycheck.
Six days until I can get my new camera!

It's okay about that muffin man, I thought it was a mushroom. I must say that it saddens me that you chose a broccoli drawing over a picture of your friends. Just saying. :)

Love the pictures!! What kind of camera are you buying? I'm dying for a DSLR but it's going to be awhile before we can buy one.
