Before the Rooster Crows

You know what I miss? I miss reading People magazine. I didn't realize it, but I had gotten into the habit of reading Mrs. Emily's People, everytime I babysat at night, after the kids were asleep. I would look for something half interesting to watch on tv, locate the magazine (which was usually under a stack of cool catalogues and other magazines on the counter,) and read.

Now, I went to go by one of those things at the store, and it was 4.95 people! That is almost five dollars! That is like taking one whole hour of my work day and throwing it away!

So, for now, goodbye to you, People magazine. Perhaps I will ask for a subscription at Christmas time.

Adieu.

I woke up at the crack of dawn this morning. Seriously. It was like 5 o clock. Fully awake, not in the least bit tired.

So weird.

So, I dozed in and out for another hour and dreamt of when one day Ian becomes President of the United States. What a great dream. Me and my ten children in the white house. lol. and my husband running the nation.

We'll see. I don't think "Graduate of Liberty University," will quite win over the American people. We'll have to build his background a little bit first.

I also don't think "worker in the middle east," will have them swooning either.

Hmmm.

We'll see.

I did, however, get a ton done already. I read the news, and put more wedding pictures up on facebook, and took a shower, and made my husband breakfast, and cleaned the kitchen and our room, and sorted the laundry.

And now I am off to work. Hopefully, I will be as productive there as I have been here.

When Ian runs for president I will vote for him I promise. You know you will have to get a dog. Every first family has a dog. Besides, those 10 kids are going to need a pet.
Hey, maybe you are becoming a morning person. I get so much more done in the morning then in the evening.
I don't buy magazines either. I just can't bring myself to spend the money. Dad likes the Readers Digest and I have to force myselt to write that $10 check. I do miss Heather's cast off's. Have a great day at work. Love ya,

just go into work early and read People there!! :) I LOVE it too but have always been too cheap to buy it for myself. I will tell you though it is super reasonable to buy magazine subscriptions on Ebay-- I've bought several that way. I know.....Emily had all the good stuff at her house. Her house was the "cool" babysitting house......*sigh*
I promise that if you come over to my house tomorrow I will buy you a PEOPLE magazine!!!!!! ;)

I too will vote for Ian. I also vote for being a morning person. I'm up by 5 am every day and its the best time of the day. I vote for reading People magazine while standing in the grocery line. I don't vote for 10 kids. :)

Oh, Brittney! You really crack me up!! We get People through a magazine deal Gus got at his office. So I don't pay that horrible price either! My other favorite magazine is Real Simple! I'm absolutely in awe of it! I hope to get that organized someday! You've seen my house- it's going to be quite awhile before I achieve that goal!LOL!!
You really don't want Ian to be president- have you ever noticed that when presidents are voted in they look young and when they get out, they look like they've aged 100 years! The pressure of running the world is a rough job and you wouldn't want your family living in a fish bowl, where your every move is watched!
I believe with all my heart that God has great things in store for you and Ian!! We love and miss you!
